Getting to the Port
By car
Take I-95 to the SR-528 (Beachline) East straight into the port. Rough drive times: Orlando 1h, Jacksonville 2.5h, Starke/Raiford 2.5h, Savannah 4h, Atlanta 7h.

Carnival sells round-trip transfers from MCO, and shared shuttles and rideshare run all morning. If several households fly in together, a van is usually cheapest.

- A passport is the easiest option. On this round-trip sailing, U.S. citizens may instead use a certified birth certificate plus a government photo ID.
- Children need their own birth certificate — start ordering copies early.
- Names on your booking must match your documents exactly.

- Port Canaveral has secured garages and lots next to the terminals, charged per day of the sailing.
- Hotel park-and-cruise packages with a shuttle are often cheaper for a family driving in.
- Arrive within your assigned check-in window — early arrivals wait outside.
July weather & packing
Expect highs near 90°F with afternoon showers. Pack swimsuits, reef-safe sunscreen, a light rain jacket, and something dressy for our family photo night.
